Love him, but just a little below his best of late – he should have just whacked the ball clear for their goal

Solid at both ends, had a couple of half chances in their box. Booked for an obvious foul on Nunez that Liverpool didn't get.

I thought he was playing well, involved well in the build-up to the opening goal. Taken off at half-time, perhaps injured?

Probably his best game in an Arsenal shirt, made some excellent passes which we might have made more of – his experience was really important today. 4 interceptions.

He was heavily involved, the final action just wasn't there but his movement caused Liverpool problems all day – including the red card they got. Plus his shot led to Saka's goal.
