Maybe a bit culpable on the second goal, couldn't get back across for the first after being at his near post
Made 6 tackles in this game, more than any other player – his substitution was likely to do with his yellow card, he was playing well
Dealt pretty well with Watkins throughout
Not one of his best days. Almost gave Watkins a goal, gave away a dangerous free kick but blocked 2 shots, made 4 clearances

Love him, but he was not at the races today
Sharp movement, without enough end product. Lots of good defensive work, without quite enough link play.

Absolutely sensational in the first half, it's an indictment on his teammates that he only has 6 PL assists this season. He's spoon feeding them at times, and they're spitting it out.

Some good moments in the first half, at both ends of the pitch, final ball wasn't quite what it needed to be. Like everyone else, nowhere near his best in the second half.

TV says 'Great save Martinez', I say 'Bad miss Trossard'. He had the whole goal to aim at from point blank range and hit it straight at the keeper.

Like most, had some good first half moments, and did have a second half shot, but the efficiency in his finishing and passing is not there in the final third.
Didn't really offer a lot
Came on, did fine
Not on long to rate, but his pass was cut out to lead to Villa's second

Not on long enough to rate

Not on long enough to rate

The moment where he put the ball out in the first half was infuriating – even more than the carelessness in the second half which saw Tielemans almost score. There are just too many sloppy moments these days, he refuses to hold the offside line and drops way too deep, inviting the opposition to create danger/pressure. A positional liability today.
0/10: Losing twice in one season to Unai Emery and Emi Martinez. Fuck that shit.
