A shaky night for him, usually so composed on the ball, he had a couple of really iffy moments, also 'conceded' the penalty but that obviously wasn't all his fault

Looked a bit rusty at times this evening – he's had a few weeks without playing to be fair, but not his usual self

I think he made a mistake in a rare moment of panic. He's more than quick enough to have chased Evanilson down, but made a foul and it was punished to the max after the intervention of VAR.

Captain for the night, he did fine - especially after the red card

Had one moment in the first half when he could have shot with his left foot but cut back on his right and got blocked out. He was the obvious choice to come off, which says a lot but was it a change that had to be made? Could Rice have dropped back?

Worked really hard, harshly penalised a few times by the officials too

Came on for Sterling and was actually fine, but made a careless mistake which led to the penalty and Bournemouth's second. Suffered the ignominy of being a sub that gets subbed
