Couldn't do much about either goal, booked for delaying the restart

Handled Luis Diaz really well, made 5 tackles, and solid on the ball in the fullback position

Made more clearances than any other player this afternoon, set up Saka's opening goal with an excellent long ball

He was playing well, but his injury really impacted our second half performance

Solid, but worrying he went off injured again - hopefully just cramp

A really front-footed performance, intercepted well and he and Merino dealt well with the Liverpool midfield

Should have scored earlier, but got his first Arsenal goal on his first Emirates start. An encouraging day for him.

Decent, particularly in that dominant spell we had after Liverpool's first equaliser

Worked hard but his first touch in the attacking third wasn't there – it was particularly costly in the second half when he failed to hold possession and Liverpool immediately countered and scored their second

He looked about 70% today, but still had some brilliant moments on the ball – not least the opening goal which was of the highest quality

Worked hard as ever, but had a couple of moments in front of goal where he could possibly have done better

Came on for Gabriel, did well - making 5 clearances as we found ourselves under more pressure in the second half. Penalised for a 'foul' ahead of our disallowed goal

On for Timber, belied his tender age with some nice stuff on the ball and good decision making

Not on long enough to rate, but got involved well – got booked for complaining about the corner we should have had right at the death
