Beaten twice, one from close range and one from a header I never knew Eddie could pull off, but otherwise safe hands

He didn't do a lot wrong, but when he plays at right-back our balance is so off - was too close to Timber all the time so we had no width

Way better in the second half when he had licence to get forward and support those around him

It was a bad mistake for the goal, compounded by being too weak when he got back, but to be fair he didn't let it affect him and did fine afterwards

Nice to see him back, made a great chance in the second half which Sterling should have done better with (twice). Ran out of steam as expected, after so long out

Solid throughout, the one player in the first half who looked to play the ball forward quickly

Had some shots from distance, won a couple of tackles, but 67.5% pass completion is below par for a team like Arsenal

Felt sorry for him when he came off at the break, Partey was poor behind him, Sterling was poor ahead of him, and two experienced players didn't give him the help he needed

Had a good chance set up by Sterling but whacked it over, otherwise just ok

5 shots on target, 3 goals, and while it's 'just' the Carabao Cup, it's also just what the doctor ordered –hopefully a confidence boost for him

Missed two good chances in the second half after a decent free kick effort in the first - did ok but he continues to underwhelm

Had a massive impact when he came on and played with a proper right-back close to him - 2 assists

Gave us calm, but shouldn't have allowed Eddie to win that header

On for Tierney, did fine, got booked

Came on, lifted the crowd, got an assist
