An early misplaced pass didn't augur well. Not at fault for either goal
I really think has to score that first half chance, to head over from that range is poor - caught a bit for the second goal
Missed the header that led to the first goal but we didn't react. I found it mad that late on we had him in the position on the edge of the box where we usually have a creative player
Ended up playing as a centre-forward and a wide man, a confused end to the game from us

Some nice touches and attempts to drive forward - we need more of that

He needs to do more to close down Isak for their second goal, he can see him but doesn't react quickly enough

At least played with some intent, set-piece delivery was good but Newcastle defended well

Someone bring me the real Martin Odegaard, he looks so far away from his best form right now. Just completely ineffectual by his own high attacking standards – and poor defensively for the first goal

Made the chance for Martinell in the first half with a smart pass, but didn't threaten much himself – although his shot/cross deflected for that Havertz chance
Took that chance on so well, crashed his shot off the post, but in those positions you have to find the back of the net. Worked hard, lots of crosses but most were meat and drink for Newcastle
How did he miss that chance? Even one goal in this game would have been useful. Played like a man who has spent 6 days on the toilet
Kept us ticking when Newcastle sat deep, one decent effort flew not far over

Huffed and puffed but couldn't add much

Not on long enough to rate
10/10: Great to have Raheem Sterling back and for the manager to put him on when we need a goal ... oh ...
