A really poor touch early on, and we're very lucky he didn't touch the ball when he tried to make a save when well outside of his box. We'd have been down to 10 men.

Won the penalty with a positive drive into the box, but lost his man for their goal – although there was too much space for Danjuma to run into after Kiwior stepped forward

Fine generally, but left space which Girona exposed for the opening goal

Mr Reliable at the back as always

Better in the opposition half than in ours, played Danjuma onside by being behind the line

Tucked away his penalty very nicely, solid in midfield

A couple of nice passes, but you can see there's a lack of rhythm due to being in and out due to injury

3 key passes, one gorgeous turn in midfield, but hopefully saving his best for Sunday when we really need it

Started quite brightly, but faded as the game went on. Harshly booked for simulation – and the missed penalty just sums up his time at Arsenal, not quite good enough

Lively enough, some nice touches, and smashed a shot off the bar in the first half

His first Champions League start, his first Champions League goal, and what a goal it was. Rewarded for his endeavour

On at half-time, caused them some problems in their half

Had one shot well saved, he should have taken the penalty

Made one fantastic tackle in the second half – then when the lad fouled him back, wouldn't accept his hand to help him back up, haha!
