Got forward well at times, those connections with Saka and Odegaard started working again

Switched off the Diaz goal, caught on his heels, but much more solid in the second half

Caught by Szoboszlai's run for the second but really solid on the ball

Dealt with a yellow card and Mo Salah pretty well

An eventful day for him. Scored, got a red card, but no Arsenal player made more tackles. The sending off wasn't harsh, but he was clearly fatigued – so maybe don't give him the ball in a difficult area and maybe Arteta could have made a switch

Much more like his old self in that second half, his shot led to the equaliser and he almost won it at the end with a low shot

Missed a great early chance that he's well capable of scoring, but had 4 shots, made 4 key passes

Put in a huge effort in the second half, scored a nice header, kept running right until the end

Instrumental in the second half revival - went off injured, perhaps a doubt for the Newcastle game for which Merino will be suspended
