Couldn't do much with the goal, made a couple of fairly routine saves

So solid defensively against both the wingers he faced, that moment late on might haunt him when he tried to head it when Gyokeres was in a better position but it's split second stuff

I thought he dealt with the yellow card well, given how early in the game it came, solid on the ball

Like Mosquera, dealt with a yellow well, and made some very solid challenges.

I was screaming at the TV 'DON'T FOUL' because I knew he was going to make a foul and then he made the foul which saw him booked. Taken off at half-time.

The early yellow didn't to him any favours, meant he couldn't play in the front-footed way which makes him most effective

Our best player again, defensively so good, worked between the centre-halves to take the stress off an inexperienced partnership in a really difficult game.
