Didn't have loads to do but made a great save early in the second half but they then scored from the subsequent corner
Missed a good chance late on from a Martinelli cross, but I often wonder what kind of team we'd be if we got a forward player into the attacking positions our right-back takes up
Fine, but found their young striker a handful (of shirt) throughout
Also had some trouble with their striker, Rice bailed him out in the first half after an uncharacteristic mistake

Solid enough on his return to his parent club

I hope that yellow card doesn't come back to haunt him/us, because it was ridiculous

Reliable on the ball

Thought he offered more than some of his other more quiet games, nice stepover in the build up to the Martinelli chance
Hit the bar in the first half with our best move of the game, got booked, did create that chance for Timber but guilty of too many touches at times when we needed more acceleration

Really struggled this evening, looked predictable and easy to defend against, and very unusually was (rightly) taken off on the hour mark

Some good touches, especially early on, set up the chance for Martinelli, but faded as the game went on

Very positive when he came on, tried to make things happen, and ultimately his endeavour resulted in the penalty that Havertz tucked away
Big pressure on him to deliver on his first return to his old club, and made no mistake from the spot. Was given a yellow card even more ludicrous than the Zubi one

Not on long enough to rate
7/10 – I quite enjoyed the slow motion drops of water dripping from the underside of the crossbar as Martinelli's shot smacked off it.
