Man City 2-1 Arsenal

An early mistake gave us a heart in mouth moment, but otherwise did ok - could do nothing about either goal

Found it tough going against Doku, dealt well enough with his booking but looked like a centre-half out of position at times

Played well, won tackles, made more clearances than any Arsenal player

He lost his battle with Haaland today, especially around the second goal, and was probably lucky not to get a red for a movement of his head towards the Norwegian when they were rutting like stags. If Haaland had reacted, it would have been a sending off no question

Defended well, but in the opposition half was untidier than we needed him to be.

Led the team for successful tackles (4), also made 4 clearances, but trying to back up Mosquera, he left his man (O'Reilly) to cross for the second City goal

Defensively got around the pitch well, but never threatened in possession apart from a couple of good corners

Not at his best but we saw what we've missed without him, made 4 key passes, including the big chance for Havertz with the score at 1-1

Really unlucky not to have scored with a brilliant left footed curler that came off the inside of the post. I think I'd have kept him on too

Taken off at half-time after a 45 minutes when pretty much nothing came off for him, unfortunately his replacement wasn't any better

A weird one because he scored our goal with great pressure, and we played better and more cohesively with him in the team, but missed two big chances. The late header, in particular, he should have buried to earn a point.

On for Madueke at half-time, didn't improve us at all, and his decision to push forward to press at the wrong time let O'Reilly run into acres of space which led to their second goal

Came on for Mosquera, overlapped a couple of times, helped stifle Doku

Put in a brilliant cross for the late Havertz chance – it ought to have been an assist

Not on long enough to rate – didn't get a touch of the ball when he came on though
