Off his game, despite one fantastic late save, he was jittery on the ball early on and that nervousness seemed to transmit itself to the players ahead of him. Not sure he should be beaten for the first either even if it is a fine strike
Didn't do much wrong, his first start since March allows him a little leeway in terms of what he can bring to the team right now

Solid on the ball
His worst game in a long, long time. Guilty of dropping off for the two first goals, misjudged a cross which could have led to another in the second, and overall really struggled

Won more aerials than any Arsenal player, but on a day like today that's winning the 'throw the hoop over the stick' thing at the local fair and winning a one-eyed panda with half its stuffing falling out

As energetic as ever, did try to make things happen but nothing did. Frustrated at the end when he kicked out at Yalcouye

Gave the ball away in dangerous areas too often, caught out of position too often, chugged back like a pensioner trying to catch the bus too often

Criticised on TV for dropping too deep, but he had to to try and get some control on the game. Just didn't do anything with the ball when he had it

Busy enough, but ineffective in the final third

Made 3 key passes, but never threatened despite some moments where he really could have done better
Fluffed his lines in front of goal when put through by Gyokeres, he had to score that. His sloppiness in our half led to the corner from which Brighton scored their third

Added little, poor on the ball

Set the tone for his performance by giving it away the first time he got it

Untidy, bullied too easily, but did make the best Arsenal chance of the game with a smart pass from which Havertz should have scored

Didn't make an impact

Not on long enough to rate, and I don't think I like throwing a 16 year old on in that context too much.
0/10 - Losing is shit, but it happens. Losing when you play that badly might be an aberration, but it makes it feel worse.
