Really had nothing to do, Lille offered basically zero threat
A good performance capped by a fantastic goal – that first touch is sublime and the finish superb

Made one fantastic block late on, but otherwise he and Gabriel kept their attacking players at arms length all night
A win against his former club, had a nice moment with the crowd afterwards

Made 3 key passes this evening, but missed a first half chance to give Mikel Merino a tap-in when he fired his cross into the arms of the keeper

Did what he does so well, ate up the ground when needed, kept things ticking

Tied with Eze for the most shots from an Arsenal player (5) and while sometimes it doesn't work, he's always looking to make something happen in the opposition final third

Will probably feel he should have scored, heading a Timber cross into the arms of the keeper, before hooking one over not long afterwards

It took him a while but he grew into the game, scored his first of the season, had 5 shots overall, and made a positive impact

He is frustrating, but there's so much volume – the plan seemed to be get it out wide to Noni and see what he can do. It was more miss than hit in general, but did play the pass from which Timber opened the scoring

This was a chance for him to show the manager why he should play more. I don't think he did that at all.

A goal, no fluffing his lines in front of goal today, and an assist. Good to see, and hopefully he can kick on from here because we know what he is capable of and this was much more like it
Got an assist for the Saka goal and the quality of his movement gives the forward line something more. Booked late on.

Played some beautiful passes as we looked to score even more and his pass to Havertz for the Saka goal was lovely

0/10 for Lille's assistant manager – sounds like a very suspicious character if you ask me.
